Ohio Hills Health Centers (OHHC) announced that Dr. David Mayberry, Dentist, has decided to retire effective November 4, 2021. Dr. Amber Bauer and Dr. Robert Brewer will continue to provide dental care at the Barnesville and Freeport Dental Centers and are able to accommodate Dr. Mayberry’s patients.
“Dr. David Mayberry is an outstanding community citizen and a respected dentist,” said Jeff Britton, CEO, OHHC. “We are grateful to him for his 41 years of service to our community. He will be missed by his patients, his staff and all who had an opportunity to work with him.”

During Dr. David Mayberry’s tenure as a community dentist, he has played a critical role in the dental health of our community, and he touched the lives of many individual and families.
“It has been my privilege to serve area residents. Over the years they have become more than patients, and many are like family,” said Dr. David Mayberry. “I will miss my daily interactions with my staff and my patients, however, I am wanting to spend more time with family, to travel and to especially have the opportunity to be with my grandchildren.”
Dr. Mayberry joined OHHC in January 2019, however, prior to that, he and his father, Dr. Donald Mayberry operated Barnesville Family Dental. Dr. Donald Mayberry started the dental practice in Barnesville in 1957. He welcomed his son, Dr. David Mayberry to the practice in 1980, and they worked side by side for many years until Dr. Donald Mayberry retired in 2013. Dr. David Mayberry continued the practice.
Dr. Mayberry has been an active member of the community as a member of Rotary for 31 years and other community organizations. Dr. Mayberry and Lynda, his wife, raised their family in Barnesville.
